Where Are We?

"Let no one seek his own good
but the good of his neighbor."
~1 Corinthians 10:24

We are staying on the beautiful grounds of St. Paul the Cross Retreat Center.

There are many reminders of our faith throughout the building, including signs we have put up.

We even had one very special teen who wrote a little note for each room to remind us all how special we are in God's eyes.  My note says,

Prayer = Life!

Cafeteria and other gathering rooms. These are well used when we have some down time in the afternoons.  Many of the teens are playing games, some are reading . . . and maybe even some may be going to their room for a nap.

There is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful chapel on the first floor.  A wonderful place to reach out to our loving Lord to touch our hearts!

And we have a large conference room where we have our program each night.  Lots of signs in there to remind us we are loved! One of the large signs is a Prayer Wall where anyone can post a prayer request (picture not include to respect the prayers that are posted).

Please continue to prayer for this mission trip . . . that we are all touched by the work we are doing here . . . and that we will bring home a new fire within us to truly become the person God has created us to be.  We are uniquely different and all have a very special purpose.
