And We Are Pittsburgh Bound!

Update and pictures from Sherri Kozup:

We had a checklist to complete before we could be on our way:
All the kids get checked in.
Load up the vans.
Decorate the vans.
Group prayer.
Team prayer.

"As each has received a gift,
use it to serve one another,
as good stewards of God's varied grace"
~1 Peter 4:10

We departed Greenville at 7:30 am on Saturday, July 28th and the last car pulled into Pittsburgh around 6:00 pm.  Being greeted by Fr. Justin was a treat, especially since he baptized some of our teens years ago.

Trucks and vans were quickly unloaded and rooms were assigned.  After everyone was settled in, we enjoyed some delicious local pizza.

After dinner we had an opening prayer from Fr. Ian, praise and worship by Eric, our wonderful musician, a welcome talk by Lisa and a great talk on "you're amazing" by Kurt Garner.

After a late night snack, we all went to bed without hesitation.

One More Thing To Pack

We need each person to bring a water bottle for use when working at the different worksites. Please put your name on it because you will be using it all week.  Feel free to decorate it to make it your own, but it's not required.
